Ajith’s Kireedam climax has been changed on the request of audiences and fans.Now the climax has been re-edited, with a positive ending, and will be screened in all theatres across Tamilnadu from Sunday (July 29) evening.
A sad ending to the movie, where Ajith's fails to realize his father's dreams of becoming a cop was not received well by Ajith-fans. In the new climax, hero Sakthivel (Ajit) after killing the notorious criminal wanted by the police, a voice-over with the Madras High Court in the background says that Sakthi is pardoned. Later he gets a medal from the President of India and the film ends with a shot of Ajit coming in police uniform and saluting his dad.
Director Vijay says, “The movie is doing well at box-office especially in urban centres. But the climax has been changed due to request from Ajith fans and the audience in general. They want a positive ending”.

Zapak.com lauched first south indian movie based The Kireedam Game launched. Kireedam game is shootout-based game to be Zapak's first game that is based on a South Indian movie.
'Kireedam', being presented by Adlabs and produced by Suresh Balaje, is a film revolving around a father-son relationship where Ajith plays the role of a young man who loves his family. Raj Kiran plays Ajith's father who wants to see his son become a cop but Shakti wants to avenge his father's honor, more than anything else, by killing all the gangsters who laid their hands on him.
Vijay, Writer and Director, 'Kireedam' says, "It is every director's dream to have as many extensions to his movie as possible which will keep his creation alive in the minds of the viewers. Hence, we decided to have a game based on it so that the player can experience the thrill and excitement of the movie. As Kireedam is an action flick, we wanted to have a shootout based game and we are excited to have it launched on Zapak.com, India's leading gaming portal."

Ajith back home and recovering
Ajith has been admitted in a private hospital in Chennai after got ill due to the change in diet in Malaysia, where he was shooting for Billa 2007. He has been discharged from the hospital but should be under complete rest for the next month or so. The actor is now said to recovering at a farm house on the East Coast Road.
Billa 2007 is directed by Vishnuvardhan and is produced by Anandha Suresh. Nayantara and Namitha play the heroines.
Ajith hospitalized
Ajith has been admitted in a private hospital in Chennai after he sustained viral fever.
Ajith, who returned to Chennai after shooting for Billa – 2007 in Malaysia, reached Chennai a couple of days ago. He complained of uneasiness and high temperature. He was rushed to a private hospital in Chennai where he was diagnosed with viral fever.
The actor has been admitted and has been asked to take a rest for the next few days.

Ajith is the Mohanlal of Tamil Cinema - Priyadarshan
Ajith's Kireedam was specially screened for priyadarshan, on Thursday, at the Four frames theatre.
Priyadarshan has impressed all with a superb show and added that he is proud of director Vijay. He said "Ajith is the Mohanlal of Tamil Cinema". The veteran director said that Ajith's and Rajkiran’s performance in Kreedom was spellbinding.
Kireedom Press Meet
Ajith movie Kreedom’s trailer release and screening of two songs were held at 6.30 p.m. in the Four Frames preview theatre owned by noted director Priyadarshan. A press meet was also organized by the producers Suresh Balaji’s Sujatha combines and Adlabs.
Vijay has directed Kireedom starring Ajith and is set for release on 20 July.
“I am fortunate to get a good production team, an excellent star cast and talented technicians for my maiden directorial venture”, says director A L Vijay.
Addressing media persons in Chennai Tuesday, Vijay said,” It was a delight to direct an actor like Ajith for my first directorial venture. He was extremely co-operative. The producers – Suresh Balaji and the Adlabs gave me enough freedom”.
Lyricist Na Muthukumar has turned dialogue writer with Kireedom. He says, “The emotional saga between a father and son has been brought out well on the screen”.
