Ajith's Billa 2 started rolling in Ramoji Rao Film city in Hyderabad, directed by Chakri Toleti
Billa 2 is a prequel of Billa. Mumbai models Huma Qureshi, Bruna Abdullah are playing the lead roles. Sudhanshu Pandey from Murder 2 plays the villan. Others in the cast include Manoj K Jayan, Prabhu and Rahman.
Billa 2 is the first Indian film to use Epic RED camera, with 5K resolution picturising by Kaka Kakka fame RD Rajasekhar. Art direction by Madhrasapattinam fame Selva Kumar and music scored by Yuvan Shanker Raja. Billa 2 is produced by IN Entertainment,and Suresh Balaje's Wide Angle Films.
Billa 2 will be shot in Hyderabad studio, Goa, Pondicherry, Thailand and Eastern Europe. It will be released on April 2012, as Ajith's Tamil New Year release.
