Out of this, four films have achieved this spectacular feat of crossing the one hundred day mark. They are Ajith’s Varalaru, Jeeva’s E, Simbu’s Vallavan and Sarathkumar’s Thalaimagan.
Varalaru stands out from the rest of the films in scaling the centenary mark in more than 25 theatres. It is expected that this film would continue its winning streak for some more time. E is in a close second position running in 20 theatres followed by Vallavan in a few theatres.
Varalaru provided Ajith with the much required break. His acting histrionics was very well appreciated by one and all and proved to be a bench mark for this talented actor.
